FACULTY POSITIONS

The University of Southern California Department of Mathematics expects to have the following positions available for Fall, 2008.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professorship.  The department anticipates making a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level in either pure or applied mathematics.  Ph.D. is required.  Candidate should demonstrate excellence in research and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate education.

Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Professorship.  The department also anticipates making a non-tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level in applied mathematics or statistics.  Ph.D. is required.  Candidate should demonstrate exceptional promise in research and teaching.
